While I don't support a conspiracy theory because too many people both in and out of government and with and supposedly without biases have tried unsuccessfully to 'prove' one, I do feel that following investigative techniques to determine who had the biggest motive leads one directly to the mafia. And they have long memories, the talent and resources and the history of committing murders simply for revenge.
Castro was better than Batista and it is a shame: 1.that the USA did not choose to support him more after the revolution -- in which case we would now likely have a democracy in Cuba (or at least a benevolent and beneficent to Cubans dictator) and 2. that we did not cause Castro to 'disappear' long ago (after he became a Russian stooge).
In 20 years Cuba will be run by a junta and the people will still be screwed, because the foreign policy (and even our laws) of the US will not react proactively to Castro's eminent death and its consequences.

First it is clear that there was no conspiracy in either assassination. To compare the terror and suffering the brave people of Cuba suffer under Castro to anything that occurred before is comparing being drawn and quartered to a paper cut. Cuba has been destroyed by the Evil dictator Castro, and whatever eventually replaces him can only be better by 10 fold.

Both JFK and RFK had so many enemies by their political back stabbing its hard to say who! The US backed Castro and gave him financial aid to get rid of Babtista, because he allowed the Mob a free reign with their casinos and helped in their money laundrying. SInce it became obvious that he was on his way out and Fidel on the way in the cia activly with approval of Ike supplied money and arms to him, then once in power he and the agency had a big falling out
