how do i change the operating system of my laptop from Italian to English language?

Have purchased anew version of HP pavillion n5000 series and it came with no restore CD, its operating system is in Italian and would like to change to English when i insert the usual service park 2 for windows XP it gives a message that it does not support CDs that it has restore CD on hard drive but this one also is in italian language. Please advise

i think the best way to deal with that is to go to an italian school...

just buy and install windows or linux in english
