You would have to call your gas supplier. They would be able to do the work, especially if it requires additional gas line. They will tell you whether they can do it, and how much. If they can't, they will give you a contact that can. This is not a DIY job.

Yes, it is possible to move any gas meter or regulator. It is just an issue of piping and labor. You can have your gas meter at my house in Florida if you want but, it is a matter of price.

Anytime you adjust or cause change to the inlet, your gas provider will be involved.

You best option is to contact the gas provider and approach them with your "moving request" first. Check to see if there are any local regulations requiring your meter to be on the "road side" of your home or "line of sight" from your dwelling. This will get you started in the right direction.

Yes it is possible but no you can not do it.... It is agenst the National Fuel Gas Code to do this with out the permission of your Gas supplier... Furthermore if you are asking how to do it DO NOT ATTEMP THIS YOURSELF!!!!! Gas is HIGHLY explosive under the right conditions and a NON trained person should not attempt it......

Call the gas company, do not, I repeat, do not touch it in any way, you could be in trouble if you did. Let them know and wait. There may be a service charge on this, ask first
