in the clothing business, it relates to height only. I bought a 16 petite so that isn't small!!! Lol. Petite in everyday conversation relates to frame and or height. Have a nice day.

In my experience it has to do with height, frame, and weight. Frame and weight are two entirely different things. Frame is width, density, and size of your skeleton. Frame is why one moderately curvy, 5'4 woman weighing 140 pounds looks thin, another woman with the same height, weight, and curves looks almost ridiculously curvy (literal hourglass), and another with the same height, weight, and curves looks "chunky". The best way to tell anyone's frame is to have them wrap their index finger and thumb around their wrist, without squeezing. If their fingers don't touch, large frame. If they do touch, but don't overlap, medium frame. If they do overlap, small frame.
As far as height and clothing sizes, the most clothing companies usually do to accommodate for height is in regards to pants, particularly jeans, and that is the inseam length. Even then, the terms "Tall", "Average", and "Short" are the most often used, sometimes with "Petite" as an even shorter inseam.
I'm 5'1", 170 lbs, and a large frame, with a measured bust of 36G (aka 42D or 40DD), hips of 40", and a waist of 34". This makes me look very curvy, and a little bit "chunky". But my clothing size depends entirely on the body area. I wear medium t-shirts and loose sweaters, large tanks and tighter fitting shirts, and xx-large pants because of my wide hips and very round derrière.
Tanks and such tops that are fitted in the chest....no such luck for me. Few brands make tops that fit my waist AND my bust. My chest is just to big.
Heh. I'd get a reduction if I could afford it.

In the clothing industry, 'petite' only relates to height. You can have plus sizes in petite ranges. HTH.

You are correct. Even if a woman is tall but small build , she is not petite, if she bought petite clothes the arms and legs would be short.

i'm able to basically think of of one stable clarification for adult men to sparkling coat their nails. working with specific components can incredibly injury the nails and wreck them so sparkling coasting might want for use to augment them. of course the might have gender subject concerns. no longer that sparkling coating your nails makes you gay however the commonplace guy does not. some adult men do get manicures yet that's stable hygiene. exceedingly if the guy is a nail bitter or has incredibly gruesome fingernails.

It refers to height and weight. Someone who's short but is stocky will not be considered petite. Someone who's tall but is very skinny will also not considered as petite.

"Petite" pertain to proportion, not just length. For example, a petite-sized pant is not the same as a average-sized pair, just cropped shorter.
