Quiet well. For instance a couple famous sightless musicians are Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder. If you listen to Stevie, he may be blind but he sees and expresses himself better than most sighted people.
A blind man became a Champion on the game show "Jeopardy."
So not only can people live without eyes, they can accomplish and succeed at nearly anything they choose to do.

lots of people live without eyes. They compensate by using their other senses. Botacelli, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder.

They have the 4 other senses. It's amazing what you can feel if you just close your eyes and let those senses take over.

the other senses are improved.. touch, sound... Braille, guide dogs.. all sorts.
