I'm getting the wii but for a 2nd console which is better, i did have a ps2 and never played it, thought it was just a crap version of a system with 20 titles for each genre. Now I am unsure which is better. Thinking they are both a bit crap.

Choose the PS3 the xbox 360 only costs around the same so in the long run you get more bang for buck with the PS3.

Well
XBox360 does not come with a hd dvd drive you have to purchase this seperate. £110 this is included wtih the PS3
The xbox360 does not have a inbuilt wifi adaptor you have to purchase this £55 this is included with PS3
360 doesnt come with a charge cable for wireless controllers buy this for £15 this is included with PS3
the 360 has 20gb hd space (12gb is free) PS3 has 60GB
You must buy a subscription charge for the 360 for
£35 a year to play online. PS3 is free for this charge.
I work out the Xbox to be around £485
The Ps3 is going to be around the £450 mark in Uk
And no im not a ps3 fanboy i have a xbox360 already but i shall be purchasing a Ps3 also

Xbox or PS3. Well If you haveeconomy in mind, Xbox 360 is for you. For about US$300, you can have a good xbox 360. PS3 is $600 plus.
Both PS3 and Xbix360 support HD and have wonderful graphics on it.
I would also suggest to have a look at Wii from Nintendo, which was launched yesterday. Nintendo Wii boasts of a conrtoller with motion sensos that none of the other two have.

ps3 by far, just home from states and got a test run , GT is the most real game i have ever seen, even down to the pebbles on the road, i have never seen anything like it, ps3 all the way, but the Wii is a total different gaming dimension, this will be the dark horse over the next 2 yrs, all i can say is this is the bollox of pure fun

If you can dish out an extra $200 than go for ps3 over 360. The graphics, blu-ray and Wifi-ness takes it slightly over the top. Plus all your friends will be Jealous, i mean a wii and a ps3 is like heaven on earth

You're off your nut. PS2 was brilliant.
Go for the PS3 - it's got the Blu Ray equipment and lots of other extras. Plus the graphics are brilliant.

Stick with the PS2 for a little longer until the PS3 hype goes down(1 year or so) then buy it for cheaper and you will know who is really winning the "best" console award.....I hate my Xbox360...wanna buy it=)

PS3 In terms of power, graphics,and games. But x box 360 looks good, and you cant slag the games off!! PS3 looks like a bread bin!!
Watch them boys at microsoft, theres alot more coming yet!!

i got a xbox360, most of the games out are ok, but i do really want the PS3 aswell.
Why go and buy a £2000 blu ray player when u can get for £400 that also plays games and cd's?

X Box 360.... Sony's "Blue Ray "is a White Elephant..... Just like the old Beta-max Video's of the late 80's... Not waste your money.
