I am looking for ideas for my radio show - it is on hospital radio - and i just want some entertaining things to talk about. Any suggestions welcomed!

Maybe you could read messages from family and friends to some of the patients. Also it might be fun to interview some of the staff. One tip for a boring guest is to get them off topic. Ask the accountant about the cafeteria food or ask the janitor what's new in the gift shop. If there's a pediatric department, bring in little kids and ask them to sing.

How about an hospital adaptation of the "War of the worlds"? :)
Something that makes people believe it's real... uhmm.. that would cause too many heart attacks.
But probably people who can't move from beds could enjoy some audiobooks performed by you and someone else with a good voice.
Uhmm.. how about an hospital contest with patients singing? For sure there must be a good average of people that is sick but has still a great voice! Something like American Idol but in a hospital way and radio broadcasted!
Another thing I noticed it could be fun is to hear your comedy actors telling fun stories on radio, even if you don't look at their mimic the stories are still funny :)

As someone who has worked for both a newspaper and the police department (and whose ex-husband was a radio announcer), I can tell you that the police log in the local newspaper can be a great source of entertainment! Find the funniest items every week and share them. This would be great.

Play devil's recommend and bypass against the undemanding perception in spite of that's or something that folk could have reliable perspectives approximately. working example tell every person you think of animal testing is significant and there ought to be greater of it and watch the telephone lines eliminate darkness from with offended callers! it will make extraordinary listening!

Rude patients. Ofcourse don't disclose any names. Parodies, prank phone calls, and ofcourse gossip about who is the hottest doctor.
