its for a persuasive speech and i need an "attention getter" any ideas?

and miniboi6666 i appreciate you expressing your beliefs but if you go back to my answer you will understand the circumstances of my actions. If you have to know it was self defense and i have worked alot to get over it. Im going to keep ur answer up here only because i believe in freedom of speech, and hopefully you do as well.

I would do my opening line in a foreign language. look something up on the interenet for translation. most likely your audience will not know what you are saying. hence the importance of a forign language.

What about if a girl is being a “jerk” to a boy(or a girl), and then he damage you, hurt you, and sexually abuse you that much, would you like that? Will he get arrest for doing that to you?
You never know when someone is going to consider(in his/her mind) your words or actions ”an outrage”! That is why according to the law and according to common sense, you can only do that on emergencies in order to escape, and even in those situations when he “deserves it” I fail to see how it can be enjoyable and funny(“haha”). If you do that in other situations then you are 10 times worse than him.
That is not just hitting, when a boy is hit in that private are and by the opposite sex, he feels used and sexually abused(but he will try to hide his true feelings).
Do you know that a kick there can cause much permanent physical damage?
To keep it short it will destroy sperm cells and testosterone cells(fortunately they a are in massive quantities), or he can even lose a testicle(yes not that rare, I have many documented cases of boys losing a testicle because of girls kicking in schools). You only kick boys there because they are not expecting it, but if they want they can hurt you and you can not do anything about it, you are lucky boys are NOT like girls. But some day you are going to kick the wrong guy and then you will lose your front teeth, or even worse go to jail. It will be "worth it" and "haha" then???

You should open with a sentence that's not english or incorporate japanese, korean, spanish, french or mandarin words in your sentence. You could also try the global approach saying that more than half of the world does not speak english but other languages. You could also approach it as a global market need and requirement to advance in business and career.
