How can i find out someones IP address??

I am being stalked by "flamers" on the australian yahoo message boards by people using false ID's.
I was wondering if there is any way I can track their IP address, I do believe I know who the offender is, I just need some proof before I take it to police

i'm sorry i am not sure how to find the IP adrdess, but just for your info, your IP address changes, what you should be looking for is the MAC address, which is fixed. peace :)
