1. For me people who addicted in pornographic pictures or themes views girls as "sex object" because why they go in a particular website porn or reading FHM's these porn addicts just have one objective in their mind -- to see flesh and nudity, WITHOUT thinking that these women's are also people and just not "sex objects".

2. Sex object means treating a girl or a man as just "things for pleasures and sexual stimulation". Porn addicts didnt mind that they are also have feelings and emotions, because they just pre-occupied in their sexual desires and just want to see the sexual parts of these people in the website or magazines. So in the reality life these porn addictsmay view their wives or girlfriends as just sex objects for their sexual satisfaction.Seeing porn sites can influenced the minds of these persons to less appreciate their women, with less love and respect, because they see this girls as sex objects...

The statement that you printed is a generalization which is claiming that people who are addicted to porn (something that would be difficult to prove in and of itself) think of females within porn as objects.

What this basically entails is conceiving of the girls within porn as objects; that is, as things for a specific use (sexual gratification) rather than as a fellow human (or subject). An easy way to think about this is considering another object: an apple. We don't think about what an apple is feeling, needing, or desiring. We just eat the apple, because that's its purpose as far as we are concerned. It is an object to us, and has a use. If someone thinks of women in the same way as the apple (as a way to obtain sexual gratification), then the woman is being viewed as a sex object; she is objectified.

However, it's worth noting that the statement "porn addicts view girls as sex objects" is problematic. First, while it may be generally true that people who consume porn objectify women, there are bound to be exceptions. Secondly, a porn "addiction" would be a very difficult thing to define. Am I addicted to potato chips because I buy them almost every time I go shopping? Is a person who buys lots of porn addicted to it? The word "addiction" has a lot of connotations dealing with sickness and deviance that need to be recognized. The statment is thus highly political. Whether or not that matters to you is, of course, up to you, but I figured it was worth mentioning.

His ex-girlfriend having a career and being at work has nothing to do with this. Had he found himself a job/career he would not have been home all day and both of their schedules would have eventually balanced out. So, it's his fault. If construction wasn't doing it he should have taken up another trade. 18 years old is still a child and only half way legal. She can't even drink or gamble and is fresh out of high school if she is even done. How dare you gloat in having a threesome with that person. I don't think you and this man need to be together. If you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem. I think the two of you are each other's poison. Maybe he's realized that and when he made a list of his addictions/evils he included you.

1. That women / girls are here just for male enjoyment- Sex & do not have any self feelings other than those potrayed in porn.
2. Sex object means the object- Girl- does not have a life beyond pandering to a man's sexual desire.
Porn addicts should understand that what they see is stimulated sex with money being paid to perform, editing done to clear & smoothen skin & looks & its fake. Sex is an extension of love, for procreation & pleasure BETWEEN a Married couple. It is NOT the only THING which a woman wants.

I don't think the "human-ness" of the "actors" in porno movies is even considered when most people view porno. They watch it for their own enjoyment, picking out actions and body parts that they are turned on by.

I've never even heard of anyone adult falling in "love or lust" with a female or male actor in porno; generally if the camera stays on one scene very long, the viewer tends to fast forward to another erotic scene.

It means they finally come to see women for what they really are - without all the confusing, superfluous and contradictory elements (like personality, conscience, intelligence, etc.)

There are men in pornos as well!

Also, why don't women object to gay porn.
