The Internet's dictionary.com website defines "police state" as: "A state in which the government exercises rigid and repressive controls over the social, economic and political life of the people, especially by means of a secret police force."
as General Tommy Franks recently suggested, that moment will come when yet another serious terrorist attack, provoked and instigated by our own meddling, interventionist, imperialistic government, occurs on our soil. All the necessary “laws” are now in place! Never mind that they are all completely unconstitutional! And never mind as well that the finishing touches of our unconstitutional “laws” have been finalized and put in place by a “limited government” Republican administration! America is now “legally” a police state!
Personaly, I think America is being destroyed by design.
It doesnt matter who gets elected as President, they are just a puppet, taking orders from somewhere else.

Wow! A complete American Meltdown would be called for in that scenario. The hilarious thing is that Desperate Americans would not resort to "Laws," any more than they ever have, and the sort of "legally police state" function you profess has existed for 30 years and no one really cares, as long as we have social justice.
I think America is being built by design. Any attack against us makes us stronger. Always. Period. Forever.

You CAN'T say anything you want in our police state. There are limits to what you are allowed to say. Our GESTAPO/ABWEHR has seen to that. An example is the TSA limits at airports.
We have had a police state for some time already. The Sheeple just haven't noticed it yet. They are just saying BAAAD things about the government at this time.

Since so much fear regarding this issue is 'hovering" all over the country, then the logical thing to do is to monitor those in Congress and senate on how and what laws they are voting for, and if found to be guilty of "nibbling" our Constitutional Rights to where this may become a reality, then it is "re-call" process time. Not Gun time not Revolution time.
