I know Michel Delpec did it in the '60's and so did Sandie Shaw. But I want to know the name of the person or group that had a release in about 1970 with it?

Wight Is Wight" is a French song by Michel Delpech. Released in 1969, the hippy influenced song became a hit in France and was recorded the following year in English by British singer Sandie Shaw. Shaw's version was her second single of the 1970s and did not meet with commercial success.
