can a 94 tranny with electric shift be swapped with a 92 with a kickdown cable?

it is a 92 700r4 out of a chevy pickup with a kickdown but the 94 has eletric shift no kickdown do the wires need to be plugged in or does it not matter

that's not actually a kick down, it's called a throttle valve cable. check length of trans, make sure yoke will match. also need tv bracket on throttle body.
