Let's say he's average. He did make it through college and grad school. What's important is not what his abilities are but what he's done with them.

Bush has been characterized as intellectually incurious. He has bragged at various times that he does not read. His small cadre of advisors tell him what he needs to know. He has said at other times that he reads "headlines" and important stories. Can someone who chooses to inform himself this way make intelligent decisions?

There's a fake website that pretends to rate the IQ's of recent presidents. It has other fun stories if you need a relief from depressing Republican vitriole.

ADDITIONAL INFO - I just found an article that discusses Bush's IQ from his military records. It's high. Odd that this part of his record survives, but not information related to his discharge.

it didn't take a high IQ for Bush to be elected. In 2000 more people voted for Gore but Bush was elected. And we all know that it is the people who advise him that have the ideas.

You should have a look at this to judge his IQ

I dunno. He went to Yale where he got better grades than John Kerry. And Bush does have his MBA from Harvard.

But the average Left-wing idiot mistakenly equates oral eloquence with intelligence. Hence the verbal awkward, at times, George W. Bush, combined with his generally misunderstood conservative views, makes Leftists ridicule his intellect rather than debate the issues.
