No. I'm afraid the flaws cannot be repaired.
Good luck!

It can work, it may just take more effort on your part. Cancers are great people but they tend to be slightly emotional people. They need to be praised for the good that they do and Libras aren't great at giving the praise they need. Libras think that it is great they are getting up and going to work everyday but that is what they are supposed to be doing..we don't see it as any thing special. Cancers want to be thanked and patted on the back for those everyday things. As long as you learn what makes your cancer tick and the two of you have mutual respect for one another then it can work out! It could even be the best relationship you have ever been in. I should know, I am a Libra and I am married to a Capricorn. Who would have thought that would work?

You are a Libra, Your Lover is a Cancer
Think twice about this relationship, Libra. It can work if you try, but you may find that the temperamental differences are so great that it may be impossible for you to bridge the gap. Why? For starters, your Cancer lover is a homebody and you like to go out as much as possible. You love new experiences and meeting new people, while they find that kind of lifestyle to be a waste of their time. Cancer's domesticity might drive you up the wall, especially when you realize that your lover hoped you were June or Ward Cleaver from the old '50s sitcom "Leave it to Beaver" -- you never will be anything remotely like that. Many Cancers are walking around with an old-fashioned vision of what family life ought to be, and in the early stages of the relationship you may not see this coming. But a lovely, warm, and inviting home is something you both want, so at least that is on your side. The difference is you like to entertain friends, but they want to entertain family.
Secondly, you are an air sign -- an analytical, communicative, and intellectual creature. Your lover, on the other hand, is a water sign, full of sentimentality, romance and feelings. Now this may sound great to you at first, but in time, you may find Cancer's changing moods unfathomable. A Pisces or Scorpio would have the patience and intuition to understand where Cancer is coming from, but after a while you probably won't have the stamina or interest to figure those moods out.
Sexually, your Cancer is a talented lover; he or she will lavish you with attention and romantic gestures. At first this will be wonderful, because Cancers are a dream in bed. However, later they can become a bit possessive or even jealous of your time, asking you to explain your schedule in detail. Your lover will wonder why you can't be more emotional and compassionate with him or her, and you will wonder why he or she can't be more rational and just let you be you.
If you love your Cancer, you may have other planets in your horoscope, which meld beautifully with his, or hers -- so don't give up hope. Even if there are no such planets in either of your charts, remind yourself that astrology is not destiny. If you truly love someone, no obstacle is too great to overcome.

Astrology shows bias against itself in the question of compatibility. Birth date is much more important than age differences, education, race, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, or economic stature. Family upbringing or social issues like single parenting or divorce are not a factor.
Also these people are complete strangers. Are you willing to risk your relationship on their say-so? Or are you looking for an excuse to get out? Whether they say yes or no; they hold no resposibility for their actions.
But doesn't assuming compatibility just because of birthday, time and location of birth makes it a form bigotry as well? Since nobody has control when or where they are born; why would you or anybody want to be judged that way?

Cancer and Libra are not known to be an ideal paring. There is usually an ego problem. You both will rub each other when being openly yourselves. The best way to handle it is through tolerance. Cancer has to realize that libra likes to be open, talkative and very fair. Libra has to realize that cancer likes to feel secure, loves home, cooking, and family - the true homebody.

You are judging your relationship; what could possibly be the perfect chance for a wonderful marriage, on when you two were born. I believe in the supernatural and all that, very strongly, but just because some people say that because you were born in one month and he in another, that your relationship won't work out isn't a good reason not to try. You've gotta take some risks to win big. That's life. When it doesn't work out, it'll hurt, but then you'll score majorly and it'll all pay off.

Well it probably won't work out unless your charts state otherwise. My mom's first husband was a Libra and she is a Cancer and they are no longer together but I would have a compatibility chart done. You will need birthdates, birthplaces, and birthtimes. Then go to Llewellyn.com or Astrology.com. I would give you Llewelyn's address but I'd have to look through a bunch of stuff. They give the best readings from my knowledge. Astrology.com is second.

Audrey you are already in a serious relationship and with every intention to get married. Why this last minute question. Krizzy has given a right example.
It appears you have a tinkering doubt. You may read Linda Goldmans sun signs.
All said and done, if you are serious go ahead.

ask yourself what is the fundamental premise of astrology.
is it reasonable and is there compelling evidence for it?
