You have to be so careful, if u intend on meetin then u need to meet in a public place u should maybe suggest meeting up with friends for a drink he could bring some friends and so could u if u intend on meeting alone then make sure someone knows where u are at all times...
You hear the stories about people who meet up and thye get married or are now best friends but there are also the people who put themselves in the wrong situation there are abductions even killings...
You need to be acreful but im sure u know that already, you need to meet in a public place somewhere like a bar or a restaurant where theres some noise so awkward pauses dont feel that awkward bit of background noise neva hurt anyone!!

I would make sure your first meeting is in a very public place. You can never be too careful. Many people may seem to be thing on line but be another in person. Make sure you let someone know where you plan on meeting and do NOT vary from that, have this person call your cell every hour to check in with you. As far a places to go.... a coffee house or a restaurant for the first date would be sufficient

Given that you met on a Military website, you might actually have a small advantage. In any case, I would not meet him or go with him to anyplace that would give him an opportunity to take advantage of you. This way you can evaluate him without risking your life or safety.

Today, you can never be so careful. I would check his background first by going to any clerk of courts in the cities and states that he's said he lived in to get a little info. on his background. May I suggest Naco (national association of counties). and also check the department of corrections. You can have one up on him. Good Luck!

Is he from Africa or America. He can't be an african american as there are not any. So he;'s already told you one. YOu don't say what you are either soit's har dot make a good suggestion for you. I would say run like crazy and forget him.

Since most people on the internet & on niche sites like this are white i'm going to assume you are too. You refer to african american like we're just some kind of lab expierment. If you're up to the task just do the same thing you'd do if it was Brad Pitt or some other numb-nuts white dude. Just dont take him golfing.
Also just refer to blacks as blacks. I dont take the courtesy to call white foks or my girlfriend caucassion. It offends me more to even hear such terms used.

make it a double date. it will make things a lot easier. also safer. there r a lot of sick people on line be careful. don't go alone. take another couple with u to a public place.
