i worked in restaraunts for 5 years b4 i said f@#$ this people are at their worst when it comes to eating out. It seems as if their dinner is messed up, fixing the problem isn't enough. they want anything else they can get and then proceed to tell you your establishment is the worst place ever and they are never coming back! to those people i say, good riddence

I worked at Taco Bell for more then a year as a shift lead, and I totally understand that people are so rude. They should just realize that if they didnt have a few min to wait for food, then they should not have stopped in the first place.
About the condiments thing, I would just tell ppl to hold on a min, and i would go in the back and look for more.
I dont think that i got paid enough for that job, I had to work with teen-agers who would never show up... :(

Belive it or not, that is not my worst job.. My worst job was at the airport here, working in a resertaunt, where 95% of the ppl refused to speak english.. (it wasn't that they didn't, it was they wouldnt!) it was super crappy..

The worst job I have ever had was not in a restaurant but since the question was asked I could not resist giving an answer. The worst job I have ever had was standing in a huge dumpster while people above were throwing garbage bags full of grass clippings in. My job was to cut open the garbage bags and take all the dog poop out and put it in a seperate bag. At the end of each day my clothes were all green and brown from the grass and poop.
(You think you got it bad at Burger King?)

I was a supervisor at Hardee's when I was younger. I never really had too much trouble out of most of the customers. I had a few people pull the stupid "Can I have a Big Mac?" because McD's was right next door. Mostly, it was okay. Now, that could be because of my easy going personality, because another supervisor was constantly having problems with customers. I try to be nice to counter help, because I know what they can do to my food! :)

I have worked in alot of restaruants over the years.
Customers are very mean. I had one one couple that were very demanding at their table, kept asking for this and that and then when I brought what they asked for , they said they didn't ask for it and I had got the order wrong. When the busboy went to remove their plates from the table they had stuck gum under the plates so he couldn't get the plates off of the table. They made one big mistake though, they paid by check so we had their phone number and address. The manager called the police when their check bounced and now they are in jail.

Yeah...Chik-fil-A...cheapa** coupon clipping customers...bah!

The worst is when you're in the drive through and some icky dirty dude starts groping your hand when you hand them their change. Seriously, they run their hands all the way down your fore-arm and wink at you. Hahaha if a guy asks for your number just tell them the local area code plus 867-5309.

Or coworkers that grab your buns. grrr!

Or the skanky lady who smells like ciggarettes and screams at her kids while they run around throwing fries at the wall and puking on the floor, then she looks at you like "so aren't you going to clean it up?"

Or the minivan that orders 15 kiddie meals all with different drinks. frick.

So glad I have a civilized job now.

not yet but i think the workers have to adjust saying srry its taking so long and if ur the manager u have to try to speed up the workers dont forget to offer stuff to ppl be friendly and cheery when u forget something say srry its not always the customers fault and its not always the employees fault but u should try to be a little different and see how much ppl will change too

I did, back in college. Yeah, it sucks. But I needed the money then. You realize with this kind of work people can sometimes be rude to other people who "they think" are beneath them. And that's sad.
