You need to set some rules for yourself. Don't leave food out on the table, and don't look in the fridge between meals and snacks.
Set snack and meal times -- sometimes just knowing you only have to wait 30 more minutes will give you the will power to not eat now.
Take a walk before you eat something.
Make rules about no eating while on the computer. This is a no-brainer. You can also make it a rule not to eat while watching TV.
Figure out why you are craving. It's not physical hunger -- you feel like you need to treat yourself. Are there any other ways you can treat yourself without resorting to food?
Also, make sure that you do eat 5 veggies, 5 fruits, three proteins, three calciums and five grain/starch things every day. And plenty of liquids. Maybe you do have a nutrition problem, but snack foods won't solve it.
And, don't beat yourself up about it. Be kind to yourself -- just try to find a different way to do it than by eating. Read a book, treat yourself to a movie, take a walk in a beautiful place, go visit (or call) a friend.
Good luck!

First programme your mind to stop this habit, to do this find interesting things to do by keeping busy.this will stop the hourly eating. then when you do have your proper meal eat SLOWLY, enjoying every mouthful, and when you begin to feel full STOP Eating, even if you have food left on your plate. over a short period of time eating between meals will be a thing of the past. This may seem odd but it WORKS it is part of the EASY WEIGHT LOSS SYSTEM by Paul McKenna, I tried it and succeeded. Good luck.

You should have a plan on how you can avoid eating hourly. First, it must start in you, you must have discipline on yourself. Set your mind what you must do to avoid eating from time to time.

Try to eat foods which surrender their energy slowly such as oatmeal, vegetables and proteins.
Avoid all sugars and bread. And don't eat any processed food.

Have you tried not going into the kitchen? Maybe going outside for a walk?
