Love puts us in state of mind in which everything is so good nothing is good enough. Hate puts us in a state of mind in that everything is so bad nothing is bad enough. In love we become so happy we stop moving forward to the point we end up things like stupid. This is why nature always steps in and challenges us with a couple challenges or two. Basically, love tends to dull us and hate tends to challenge us.

Because our whole lives, we are taught to be defensive and to look out for number one. Of course, love couldn't work if both participants were like that; so we become all open, giving and mushy, and we're not used to it at first so we get a little disoriented.
But love is a wonderful thing. Go with the flow. In my life, the only love I ended up regretting in the long run was the love that never happened.

If it makes you stupid then it isn't "love"
Many people use the word love, when what they are experiencing or participating in isn't love at all, but rather something superficial, delusional, lustful, needy, twisted, narcissistic etc.
When it is really love, then you won't act or feel "stupid."
Being, acting or feeling stupid is a good indicator that what you are experiencing is a facsimile of love, but not love at all.

When you are in love, you start compromising your own comfort, your own principls, and your freedom ... that may sound stupid .... but everytime we fall in love we choose to compromise these things ...... Does that make us stupid? guess not ... love is the best feeling I ever felt .... life was lived to the extreme then!
