I have two best friends we all look about as different as can be but if I do say so myself we are all pretty attractive. My husband likes short girls with dark skin just like my friend *Terri her husband likes tall/ willowy girls just like my friends *Sarah and her husband likes blonde small curvey girls just like me. We are all so jealous of each other and think our husbands think the other one is prettier. It's actually ridiculous but what I am wondering is do most men tell their wives that they actually prefer other body types or haircolors? It's weird that all of ours did. We all knew each other and our husbands knew all of us. So why did they pick us if we weren't the "type" they wanted??? My husband says it is my personality .. but why didn't he "try" with my friend first if that is what he is most attracted to. Ladies do you sometimes feel jealous when your girlfriends are around your husband not that anything will happen you just want him to think you are prettier. Just curious

i think it's differnt with everybody, but i'm not a jealous person. tho my husband tends to be more attracted to dark haired girls (which i am) he is still friends with some of his exes and not all of them are dark haired. but i know he married me for a reason. and i sometimes find other guys attractive, we all do, so i wouldn't worry as long as you can trust your husband.

To be honest, my husband never does that with me. And I can leave him alone with my friends in the same house and have nothing to worry about, that is because I trust him and I trust my friends. But to be honest I would probably feel jealous if my husband told me as your husbands do.
I am sure they chose you for all that you are, not necessarily for your looks, nor personality, but because you are what you are. It does not even matter if someone looks better that you, I am sure no matter how pretty we are, there is always someone prettier! but that does not mean that our husbands will hit it off with them if they get the chance, otherwise as you say, you would have had each others partners.
Maybe they are just trying to make you jealous in order to feel your love more.

I am complete opposite of what my hubby wanted, but hey so is he, when chemistry attacks, it does not matter what our fantasy looks like, He would not have married you if he didn't love you. And what makes you think that just because we have the fantasy person we will love their personality, sometimes us women think The Grass is always Greener on the other-side, but it really isn't. take my word for it, All your husbands really want is to be loved and respected.
And Jealously sometimes it's a good thing, it keeps you on your toes, and it proves that you still love your husband if you felt no jealousy then the marriage is truly over.

I'm not the jealous type. I don't waste time worrying about that kind of thing. I figure that he's happy with me right now and right now is all anyone has. If he changes his mind in the future then I'll move on as well.

my husband is very open with what he finds attractive. and they tend to chose the wife based more on compatibility with personality more than with their fantasy body type. i do get jealous when i see him reacting to someone he is attracted to....and paranoid too. but he is getting sweeter about telling me how he loves me best and how i am a treasure since he got the best of everything all in one package.

I don't know, I have never felt that way with my hubby. It's just natural for a man to admire someone other than their wife. You don't have to feel insecure about this because it's love that brought him to you.
