Tongue piercings take about 3-6 months to heal, but can close quickly for some people. Initial healing is done after 6 weeks (this means chance for infection and problems are minimal)
Navel piercings take on average 6 months to heal, but can take as long as a year or more for some people. Also, navel piercings can reject, that can take weeks to months to fully happen. Initial healing for this piercing is usually done once crust stops forming, often around 3-4 months. The piercing at that point is less likely to reject or become infected, but still not fully healed.

It takes up to 18mths for the navel to heal properly, the tongue takes up to 2years to heal even after that time if you take the bar out for longer than a week the tongue will start to close the piercing.

6 weeks for Navel/ Ear Cartilage and other fleshy areas. For Tongue it can take as long as 8 weeks (though no pain should be felt after 7 days) due to the moisture and the place - the Tongue is the most used muscle we have

I had my tummy done years ago (before it was 'trendy') and was advised at the time to take zinc tablets to promote healing. Mine only took a couple of weeks to heal if I remember rightly. The tongue is very quick to heal the issue is more with the swelling which takes a while to go down.

That depends how long the spike is!
Generally an impalement can lead to death, where as small darts of the enemy should be prayed over immediately by prayer warriors. Items of jewelry, however, are like splinters and irritate the skin unless kept clean.
Try not to stretch the nailed area, as this can open up fresh wounds.
