What I do is hot chocolate made with milk [not water].

or, I go on ebaum's world.com and play their game 'proximity' under their puzzle games. For some reason...it make me very tired. It's a brain game...so it clears your mind of other stresses...maybe that's why.

I also recently read that if you go to bed and try to 'stay-awake'
that it will help you get to sleep faster and stay asleep longer.

On exam day, drink caffeine for breakfast...coke or coffee.

Good luck.

When your mind is running a million miles a minute while you are lying there in bed force your mind to focus on only one thought. When you wonder off to another make yourself come back to the original thought. Eventually your mind will become bored and you can sleep. Also you may see if you are getting enought magnisum in your diet. Dark chocolate is a good source. Just a little every day. But it really sounds like yours is stress related.

Good Luck and sleep well

You are probably too anxious. Learn to relax. Try meditation before sleeping. Or just calming your nerves. If you do actually wake up, don't panic over it. Know that it is only natural that you should feel anxious and be at peace with it.

you probably need to wind down before going to bed. Try making sure you aren't studying up to the point before you go to bed. Maybe set aside 1/2 an hour or so to make sure you are prepared for bed. Your brain is probably still digesting everything and is keeping you up

Try working out in the morning. If your workout is sufficient you will feel more fatigued at bedtime and be more apt to sleeping when you want.
