Hanoi Rocks - was one of my favourites... The song was a CCR cover called "Up around the Bend." I haven't thought about that in years.... Think I'll google the video. If the helicoptor intro you are referring to is the music not the video, it was French Canadian Aldo Nova's Fantasy - and ya, the moog synthesizer was kinda cheesy.
