to answer a comment...he had made a comment about "lynching" before anyone made a comment about him being a "cr-cker"...this is really...ignorant. Either way they were both in the wrong

I assume you are referring to the Michael Richards incident? I think feeling differently towards Seinfeld is a natural but temporary reaction that many fans will experience, and most will get over. When you watch the show, you'll now be thinking "Michael Richards" instead of "Kramer" every time he appears in a scene. His presence will take you out of the show and make you think about his tirade at the comedy club.
I felt the same way while watching a few Mel Gibson movies after his drunk driving incident occurred. Every time I saw him, I got a mental image of how he looked after his arrest. It really distracted me, but I eventually got past it.
One more example. A lot of people can't watch those "Naked Gun" comedy movies anymore, because O.J. Simpson is in them. It's a shame. They were very funny flicks when they were first released, and O.J. was actually a fair comedian. But I can never fully enjoy those movies or laugh the same way again

i love seinfeld. don't you think most people who wanted the dvd's have already bought them?
yes his comments were horrible, and the back and forth racial slurs from the audience and him are just wrong.
however this show was made in the 90's. i watched an episode last night. yes it was a little weird because i kept thinking how i couldn't believe he acted like that.
i will continue to watch reruns. he was a part of the show not the whole show. jerry, elaine, and george are part of the show and in real life seem to be REALLY nice people.

I stopped finding Seinfeld funny years ago, and that was only because I had seen the episodes so many times. However, all that Kramer's skit has done to me was made me pissed off that he apologized for it. Sure racism is ignorant and hateful, but the heckler brought race into it, and he just responded in kind.
Just because we're not as offended by "cracker" as black are by the word ****** doesn't make it ok for black people to use it and expect us not to be offended and retaliate.

Actually I haven't seen his rant. I just saw a tiny bit on fox and you couldn't tell anything he said. I am assuming he said the N word a lot. I don't like it and won't have it in my face but these other actors are not to blame. As a matter of fact they got out there and condemned it right away. Who knows maybe Kramer has a mental disorder?

I can. The show came on and went off the air way before this happend. Plus those are characters and not real people. If he(Michael Richards) ever did anything new, I probably wouldn't like it. Plus the show revolved around Jerry and not Kramer.

While what Michael Richards did was reprehensible, it doesn't affect my opinion of the "Seinfeld" show at all.
Actors are not the characters they play, and it's silly to confuse the fictional Cosmo Kramer with the idiotic Michael Richards.

I think it was a bad outburst by Michael but keep in mind he was being himself and not kramer and u should not associate his bad actions to a great show that ended 8 yrs ago.

I was a fan of the show until I read about the comments that Kramer made.
Now, I don't have any interest in watching it.

Seinfeld was nice series but after several reruns of the same episodes, it started to not be funny and interesting anymore.
