I don't think so. He's an amazing swimmer, and I thought we'd see him for sure at the 2008 games in China.
However, I'm not walking in his shoes, and there may be some underlying reason that we're unaware of.
So sad, he was amazing!

Yes I think it is a good idea beacause he's been swimming for nine years. He wuld like to do other things than swimming.

Training for his sport is demanding and endless...I am surprised he lasted 10 years...I can see his point, he's done it and succeeded...now it's time to get a life/family/career...glad he's figured that out young enough that it won't be hard to do.

well he made his fortune now and all is easy for him now, i think he will be quite succesful so dont worry to much about him, and anyway there will be a replacemnet soon.
