What is thenext best step to take when you have the skill, talent and smarts to work, run a business, make loads of cash, but can't find the avenue to do it in?

I need a mentor or an idea of what to do? I feel like I am at the end of my rope. Anyone hiring out there for a multi-talented person? :)

I have a background in Business Administration (management, development, start ups), Finance (financial analyst and accounting) and IT(programming, database analysis and creation, web design). I also run an event planning company on the side; I;ve done large events for colleges and international sports starts. I create, maintain, and modify databases in MS Access (using SQL writer). I build websites and I built my own for my event planning company (www.eaaevents.com) I receive many compliments. But with all the things I can do why am I broke? I feel like I am at the end of my rope and I am not sure of what to do next or how to present myself to get the money I want for what I do

Even if you don't have a degree and a job you want to apply for requires one, you can still get the job. I know someone who applied for the job of an accountant position for a business even though the individual did not have a degree in anything. He got the position because he answered a math question correctly during the interview. The math question...9x9=? Also, you could start your own business. You can make things to sell, or even sell items for companies for commission. If you want to create your own business, focus on your exact talents. If you are artistic, create murals for money, or if you are good at interior design, market your ideas to new home owners and businesses. If you know that you want to manage a business, look into companies that will train you. For example, Lowes and Home depot train assistant managers. And you could even go to college. You can get enough in student loans to live on while you are in school. The key to success is persuverance and hard work. I know what I'm talking about. I began flipping houses 6 years ago, at the age of 22. I started small, getting a loan on a house for 13,000 and then living in it while I fixed it up. After I sold it, I used the money to buy the next house and so on. The house I'm working on now should net me a return of about 100,000. I do all the work myself. It's great to look back and see what you achieve with hard work. You can do that, too. Set a goal and a deadline in which to achieve it. Follow your goals and make sure that whatever you do you will be happy in that line of work. Remember, it's always better to be poor and happy than to be rich and miserable. I wish you the best of luck. You can contact me if you need any other info on the things I listed.

Since you don't say what you are qualifiied for exactly...I will give
you some ideas. Real estate. Music industry...work ur way up.
City jobs. I would say open a dance club. A good one, start out
with a do it yourself style...decor. Then eventually add more until
its really chic. Some people have a PLAN. Some people just
happen to stumble onto a good job. Just some ideas.

The answer is franchising. Find a franchise business you like. Run the business. If you got the talent, the self-motivation, and the guts to be your own boss, but no vision, franchises are your golden opportunity to test yourself out with support from the franchise holders.

go into business for yourself. quit looking to be hired. HIRE YOURSELF. it will take time... skill...talent... and smarts... all the things you speak of. but it will HAPPEN for you if you really posess all of those real qualities. I started my own business... it's hard and it's not always lucrative, but I find it so rewarding. Believe in yourself you can do so much more for yourself than anyone could ever do FOR you.

Believe it because it's true!!!
