One thing is obvious -- to gain weight you need to eat more food than your body burns. For every pound of body weight you gain, you must consume 3,500 calories more than your body uses.

Trying to get those extra calories may make it seem as though all you do is eat.

Make good use of your stomach space by focusing on nutrient-rich foods that have higher calorie counts. By choosing foods with concentrated calories you get more calories in the same quantity of food. For example, granola has more calories than bran flakes. A banana has more calories than an orange. Peas have more calories than broccoli. Use the Nutrition Facts panel on food labels to help compare calorie levels.
Food choices should be health-promoting and include foods from all five food groups -- whole grains, fruits, vegetables, dairy and meats, poultry, fish and beans.

Don’t fill up on low- and no-calorie drinks, such as diet sodas and hard candies. Rather than coffee and tea, drink fluids that provide calories -- such as juice, milk and milk shakes. Other foods to add are dried fruits and fruits in heavy syrup. Fortify soups and casseroles with dry milk powder. Garnish salads with olives, avocados, nuts and cheese. Dietitians often recommend Carnation Instant Breakfast as a calorie-boosting snack.

More frequent meals help keep calories up. Five to seven small meals per day is a good way to go especially if your appetite is small. Physical activity aids muscle building and may help simulate an appetite

Start taking the Homeopathic Remedy NATRIUM MUR in 30 potency thrice a day half hour before meals and SULFUR in 200 once a day first thing in the morning on an empty stomach with nothing to eat at least for half an hour of taking the remedy, and avoid taking chocolates, coffee, mints and red meat plus spices and rich starchy food you will be back on your feet and start gaining weight after taking them for a few days. Keep me posted about your progress after taking them for at least three days regularly. No side effects and No complications involved. That's how Homeopathy works, 100% cures without hassles.
Take care and God Bless you !
