I don't know about the White house always being white. But I think Allen Keys would have made a great President.

The White House is called white because that is the color of the structure, not the color of skin......As if u didn`t know ! And who`s to say that there is not going to be a black president someday.

No! There hasn't been a black american with the qualifications or backing that has run. Personally I was hoping Colin Powell would run as he would have my vote and most other Vets votes that had the pleasure of serving under him while he was a military leader. He is the only truely dynamic black person I can think of that would be well qualified to run our country.

I'm not saying their are not more. I just can't think of another more qualified.

The white house is white because the Canadians set fire to it during the war of 1812 it was painted white to cover the burn marks.

What color would you rather have it? Who ever heard of a black painted house? White is simple, and i would claim it more professional than something like pink, red, blue, orange, yellow... Whatever.
