All of the over the counter medications can cause damage. They do not if they are used in moderation though. I have to take a prescription medication that MAY build up in the liver. I get a liver function test every three months. However, this is decision I had to make as to whether I was better off with or without the medication. At this time, I am better with the medication even with the possibility of the side effects.

Pills are like cocktails of several other drugs, yeah, this is true but only for some medications.

As for the problems that every medication can cause, they are different from pill to pill and the signs and symptoms can vary from person to person.

Some pills are a mixture of several medicines because the combination is more effective for some things; other pills are just one medication. It really depends upon the "pill" you are talking about! Too much of anything can do damage, but the correct dosage is not harmful to most people. (I say "most" because some people are sensitive to certain medicines.)

I have no clue, but that's freaky. I don't take aspirin or anything like that. I prefer natural remedies, the only thing I take is DDAVP w/ Desmopressin for my Diabetes Insipidus....is there anything that causes any serious problems with that? OMG now I'm totally paranoid. LOL. Someone call somene....Ghostbusters? help? LOL
