Tell me. Did Micheal Richards (Cosmo Kramer) express his true feeling about African Americans when he was heckled by one during his performance? Was it an accident, will he be forgiven? some say his career was on borrowed time anyway. Is he done like an over-cooked steak? Did his racist remarks put the iceing on the cake?

Man, man, man. Someone mentioned his ( half-assed ) apology on David Letterman the other night and said that he was crying. Are you kidding me?! He did not look like he was crying and I did not get the feeling that he was remorsful at all. And was it just me or was there audience members laughing while he was giving his supposed apology. He even referred to African-Americans as Afro-Americans. How stupid is that?! An Afro is a hair style, African is a ethnicity. Somebody should have briefed him before he went out there and made a even bigger jerk out of himself. I also have noticed that there really isn't a big backlash for his comments. This man yelled about hanging us ( African-Americans ) from trees with forks up our you know whats. Used the N word many times and people treated it as if the whole thing was a simple misunderstanding. I know that he was being heckled, but you are a professional comedian. You should have thicker skin and should be witty enough to come back with something clever. This was not a joke and nothing was funny about it. Is he a racist? Well, to me you have to have this kind of stuff already in your head to actually say it. This incident just brought it out of him. By the way, I never heard anyone call him a Cracker from the audience. There is no excuse for this kind of behavior. Is he on drugs? Hell, if I know. That still doesn't make it right. Same thing with Mel Gibson. People said the Mel has a drinking problem ( and he does ) like we are supposed to excuse his behavior because of that. I know you've heard the expression: A DRUNK PERSON SPEAKS A SOBER MIND. Same thing goes for someone who is high. Also, why is it that when somebody says or does something obviously racist people get mad when someone calls them on?! They say " Your playing the race card. " Or if you get upset when something offends you they'll say " Lighten up. If you talk about it like that or if you get upset it only means that your the real racist " Who in their right mind is gonna sit by and let someone say hurtful, ugly racist things? The man is a jerk and there are plenty of other jerks out there just like him. What can anyone do besides argue with them and slap them around a little?!LOL.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

They say your try feeligs come out when you are drunk or hugh so it would seem so.
I loved him on Seinfeld but thought his "over"reaction to heckling was a bit over the top.
He acted like he was high but who really knows?
He may be finished now????
He hasn't really done much career wise since Seinfeld ended.

However it is (and always has been) puzzling to me why African American's can make fun of white folk & is no big deal or call each other the "n" word & no contriversary but when a white person does they are racist.
The person called him a "cracker" so he went on the defensive to the extreme I guess so he is all of a sudden a bad person?
Can't we all just get along?
We don't have to worry about terrorist if they'll just leave us alone long enough cause every single time we watch the news someone is being killed, children, family members, druggies looking for a dollar, etc. It's pitiful!!

Honestly, I don't have all the facts of the story. But I think he might be or possibly not. The problem is, the N word is so vastly used by African Americans in pop culture, that I'm afraid it might become acceptable for white performers to use it. Ex: Jennifer Lopez, a Puerto Rican woman used the word in a song a few years ago. And even on Eminem's Marshall Mathers CD, in the unedited version of I am, in one of this songs he uses it or a word that sounds similar.

Well, he was being heckled, which is rude to begin. He didn't
know how to handle that, and he got called a "cracker" ya know,
so he was letting off steam....lol It will blow over. Can't people
make mistakes anymore ? Geez. Of course, he could have
handled it better. But lets all be honest....he didn't say anything
new. How come Chris Rock can make fun of white people and
its funny ? Or when blacks call each other names...white people
call each other names too. It not a big deal. So what.........

yah hes over im sure. he had every right to be mad about being heckled but he had no excuses to bring race into it. white and black people have enough tension between them as a whole to start letting people like that drive wedges.
