I was given a LOT of dairy products by WIC and in an effort not to waste them, I've been gorging myself on milk, cheese, and eggs. Now I have this terrible smell coming from my posterier region. It's pretty embarassing and because I'm very pregnant, I have little control over what happens with my bodily functions.

Is there any natural remedy or food that I can take for gas?

Happens when I eat dried appricots, once cleared a subway platform without the train showing up. There is a product called Beano in Canada and the US. Taken with the offending food it breaks down the simple sugars that lead to the biological warfare.

Hopes this helps

Otherwise you will have to get a dog to blame, providing he doesn't leave the room too :)

You might be lactose intolerant. The level of intolerance varies so some people can barely eat any dairy, while others can eat quite a bit before they get symptoms. The symptoms are painful gas, and sometimes diarrhea.

If you can, try to get Lactaid, which is regular milk with an enzyme added to breakdown the lactose. Or you can take Lactaid tablets, which are the same enzyme, and you take it before you eat dairy. Yogurt and hard cheese (like Parmigiano) have very little lactose and should be easier to digest.

You may try some peppermint tea. It sounds like you got into the dairy stuff too much. You can get gas-x or beano at the store and they work very fast. I'll bet you are uncomfortable! Try to lie on your side with your knees bent up. This is a good position for tummy troubles. Best of luck to you and baby!

Stop gorging yourself on dairy products. This is causing the smell. Eat dairy products in moderation.

The cheese and eggs are probably the main culprit. There is sulfur in those two items and there is not anything you can do about it.
