No. People tend to mistake our reserved behavior for being shy. We tend to observe people before we get to know them. We don't just put ourselves out there. We try to really get to know people before trusting them. But we're not shy. We're usually the one at the party that's standing on the side in deep conversation with someone else.

Yeah you are correct. I am a Capricorn myself(born in late December) and I know that from experience as well as astrology websites. Capricorns are very quiet and shy, unlike some other signs like Sagittarius ( Fire) and Gemini( Air ). It is because as Capricorn is ruled by the element of Earth, a feminine element(the other feminine element is Water). Water and Earth are considered as growing inwards, thus yin. Fire and Air are considered as growing outwards, thus yang.
Comptibility is also based on it.

I don't think so! I am an Aquarius (January 26th) and I am embroiled in a major feud with my husband's best friend who is a Capricorn, (December 18th). He is a selfish, bossy, prick that doesn't want my husband to give me and his pregnant wife a ride to a concert because he doesn't want it to interfere with his night out drinking with "the boys'!!!! He is a total jerk!
