Well if he isnt hanged or set free eventually he will be found dead in his cell or the shower, or somewhere in an Iraq prison.

I believe that life in prison is much worse he will then have to suffer the tourment of his continuous evil doings that will haunt him forever....thats the time he will really look at himself, and realize hopefuly all the wickedness he did....i actually think prision life would be such a maddening experience for him.....so maybe hanging is too good for him after all.

I hope that one day he will be discovered dead in a cell, but not in your style. He should have suffered through 18/19 years of very grave suffering from incurable diseases, and he tried to commit suicides many times, but could not get his hands on any poison, instrument of torture, untill one day he just naturally died after years and years of suffering. No No. No, hanging will be too small a penalty for him.

This is the same man that let his sons die for him and then hid in a chicken coop? That's my visual of Saddam...a pathetic old man being helped out of a chicken coop by the United States Marines...He's a coward, he will hold on till the end and die like a slug.

I agree. A hanging would cause further violence as Sadam's Baa'tha party is still very much alive and Sadam is still respected within his own Muslim sect. He like Napoleon should be sent to a distant island and die a mysterious death.

No that will not happen. The US will not let it happen - because they need to showcase their stupid view of "justice". Thats one of the few the ways in which the US can save face on the Iraq issue.
