Yes, it was pretty slow...
Don't they think that they actually died of dehydration and hypothermia rather than shark attacks though? They said that they found their scuba gear washed up with no indication of a shark attack. The heat of the day and the lack of water made them a bit mental and they think that they took off their scuba gear and then froze, but were never found.

I am usually unaffected by movies. Although I especially enjoy sci-fi, horror and suspense flicks, I have a strong stomach and never get freaked out. But "Open Water" disturbed me on a personal level. I'm a former scuba diver, and I used to think about that very scenario happening to me. I knew in advance that the movie was based on a true story, and that made it all the more disturbing. The whole time I was watching it, I kept thinking about how it must have been for those two people, especially during their final few hours. Although a lot of the facts are now known, much of the mystery will never be solved.

I saw it. It was really slow and what was that nude scene about? It looked a little out of place to me.
