i'll put it this way.. if you're not living paycheck to paycheck, you're lucky. most people i know work TWO jobs just to pay the rent. and they are good, honest, hard-working adults who never broke a law or hurt other people. so much for the american dream.
meanwhile, look at all the crap our government spends OUR hard-earned money on. now they're talking about getting out of iraq after spending billions and billions on that!

I live paycheck to paycheck, and am just about sick and tired of it too. I pay my bills the day I get my check and that leaves me like 20 or 30 bucks until next payday.

You are definitely not alone! I know on payday we pay the bills and can't wait to get paid again cuz maybe we can save some money out of that one! I know how you feel! Trying to find ways to buy Christmas presents.

They say that there is a huge amount of people that are just a couple of paychecks away from homelessness myself included. The gov't is cutting funds for homeless services, which makes me mad because they need it more than anyone else.

You are not alone- by far. Even though my fiance and I make a nice income- we have WAY more outgoing than incoming due to various things such as health bills, student loans, household things, etc...

No - you're not alone. It's pretty common. What's more, did you know that every time they raise the minimum wage, the cost of everything goes up, too?Just watch and see. And unless you get minimum wage yourself, you'll see that YOUR wage doesn't go up to cover it! And of course, the minimum wage worker, who just got the 'raise' still doesn't have any more than he/she had, because the cost of everything they want or need just went up to compensate.
