You need to have a plan. Like where do you want to move and why do you want to move there. What will it cost to move there, where in that state do you want to live. What is the job market like where you are wanting to move to. Do you want to buy a house or rent one.
Most things you can find out about on the internet. A local paper of the city you are thinking of moving into will have housing and job information.
I would suggest taking a short trip to where ever you are thinking of moving to to really check out that city. Maybe while you are there you can look for a job. Maybe put in application or drop off resumes. Tell employers that you are wanting to move there and want to get a job to start when you move there.
If you have no job before you move make sure you have enough money to last until you get one.
Good Luck

Use one of the online resume and job search websites like monster.com and look for a job in the area that you'll be moving to. I f that doesn't pan out, just make sure to save up enough money to survive while you're trying to find work. Make sure that you arrive wherever you move with plenty of copies of your resume! Good luck!

You need to start stacking money now. You need at least 2k to live a little comfortable, but then again that depends on where you are moving to. try your best to find a job where you are. That way you will have some security and stability.

Your biggest problem will be getting someone to rent you an apartment when you have no proof you can pay the rent. You might try roommates.com to see if you can get a roommate, they have less strict guidelines as long as you can pay rent.
