Odd but 'real' question. Yes, it does make me happy to see "no misspellings" when I click on spell-check because it reminds me that I spell well. Math...that is another issue.

Yeah, I brag about it at parties.

"So guess what you guys? I was typing a term paper and at the end I clicked on Spell Check.. no misspellings. Yeah, that's me... no misspellings. What'd you say? Your wife just had a baby? You interrupted my story for that? Wow...get over yourself. I'm talking about my day and why I'm awesome and you want to interrupt me about your newborn? How selfish. I'm going over to the cocktail bar, let me know when you're done gloating"

I'm not surprised. And I'm not bragging.
I am one of those lucky people who never had trouble with spelling. Like some are good with math.
I have 2 sons, both had spelling tests every Friday.
One never studied and always got 100.
The other would study all week and get 70 - 85.

Its usually the stupid little words that trip me up. Not misspelled but mistyped. I like it when I get it right.
