Well, don't feel too pressured, you are young and you have a lot of time. You might want to think back on your life and your interests, what were you usually drawn to? What gave you joy and energy; what did you like to do? I think the answers to these questions will give you clues as to interests that will keep you happy for the rest of your life. Find careers that will help you develop those interests and the talents that you have. Take surveys to help you work out your interests. Don't be afraid to do what you love. Try to be practical, things don't happen overnight, and always try to be logical, one step at a time, and remember that nothing comes easily. I know some of this is a bit general, but hopefully it will help point you in the right direction. Ultimately, if you look inside your heart, you will find the answer. And whatever you do, keep struggling until you get to where you want to be, if everything was easy, everyone would have it all, so don't give up, it will all come together eventually but it all takes hard work. Good luck! :)

I'm 38 yo, I have a beautiful family, a BS in engineering and a master's in education. I've spent 15 years working for GE & Pfizer in engineering, management and executive positions, and I recently quit to start my own consulting company & do non-profit work.
And I'm still not sure what I want to do when I grow up!

The important thing is to thing long term and decide short term.

Look out in the distance, think about what you enjoy. Think about what kind of standard of living you'd like to have. Consider your abilities, then decide. The trick to deciding is to not get caught up in making THE RIGHT decision, because in your case, more than likely, there isn't A RIGHT decision, but MANY GOOD decisions.

The key is make a good decision, set your goals, then work hard ...and periodically reassess it all.

That will give you options, and having options is the key to having hope.

In short, here's my advice: Live life intentionally, joyfully, purposefully, and simply.

I always suggest young adults consider getting into the computer, medical or education field

And if these are not interesting than be sure to do what you are passionate about.

Hope this helps
