Hey! I thought my husband was the only guy who was thinking like you're thinking now, in this question! He always gives me 'a look' when I go crazy over getting back on touch with my former classmates, etc. I say, "Oh my gosh, I think we're destined to become friends for life!" And he says "There you go again! And something bad happens and you come running to me and I have to fix things for you. Do me a favor and stop thinking like that, will you?" And I do admit, I'm too eager about friendships. I text my friends to say goodnight, and in the mornings to say goodmorning, etc. I'm a sweet friend, but I can see how it can be unhealthy. Like, my friends may not feel the same way about me. Like, my firends may not think that just because we ran into each other again or came across each other on the internet, it means we are destined to be friends for life.
I feel my husband, now. I can see what he means when I stop and think about it. :-)
Culture is something, too. People in different countries have different takes on friendship. I'm American, but live in the Philippines. Everyone I know who's Filipino has a 'friendster' account, and each person has at least 300 friends in their account. All the people from kindergarten to college! I think it's because community ties are stronger, the country is smaller, everything is simpler, so people stay tied together through the years.

That looks sketchy. She should be dishonest. in case you imagine about it, why is she unavailable each of the time? what's so tricky about calling you or texting you after paintings? she will be able to't be busy 24/7. It makes no experience. the subsequent time she is for sale, ask her what she's so busy with each of the time. that's totally well to ask. it form of sounds like you issue, because you got here to seek for suggestion from over the web. that's says lots.

I think not. Most of my guy friends really made efforts to get in touch with me again even if it was years ago since we have last seen each other.

I think it`s a girl thing. I`ve never heard of my wery old friends, and have no interest to call them. Sure I would be surprised and it would be nice to meet, but I have no special need to maintain ancient old palships that has vanished
