Yes, he is still by far the highest paid player in baseball, though rather undeservedly so. He is not the highest paid player in professional sports. I believe, but I am not sure, that there are players in the NBA and NFL who are paid more. But A-Rod will always be the highest-paid as long as he plays because of his gigantic contract signed before the 2001 season (10 years, 252 million) and a clause in his contract that states if any player ever makes a higher annual salary, he will receive a salary increase until he makes more than that person.

A-Rod is still the most paid baseball player. He signed that historic 10 year $252 million dollar contract a few years ago and he has a lot of other money from endorsements. But Tiger Woods is the highest paid of all sports stars overall.

It all depends upon what Matzusaka signs for with the Red Sox. If the contract is the 60 million they're talking about for 4 years he would be the highest paid player in Baseball at 27 million per. Tiger Woods makes crazy money so he's in a class of his own.

Haha Ozgard, thats ridiculous. It is clear that Matsuzaka will not recieve more than 15 million/year. The 51 million dollar offer the Sox made will end up earning us money in Japan, people are saying 15 million a year from Japanese fans. Matsuzaka can't stand another year in Japan for 3m, he will come to the Sox for a reasonable offer.

still the highest in baseball. unless you want to include the $51 million the red sox spent in negotiations for that asian pitcher in his salary. no one is paid more but i think a few others after winnings and endorsements might make more.

enable's see. A-Rod makes 27.5 Million a 12 months. He in many circumstances performs approximately each inning of a hundred and fifty video games. you in basic terms do not pinch hit for or deliver in a protective substitute for A-Rod, so say he performs 9 innings for a hundred and fifty video games. video games in many circumstances final 2 one million/2 to 3 hours, so say that he performs 2 hours and 40 5 minutes for 9 innings in a hundred and fifty video games. Does that assist you out a sprint?
