I am attending a wedding on Saturday after thanksgiving. It gets down to 30 degrees in the evening where I live and I dont think I can stand to wear open toe heels. besides I dont have any. The boots I have are very modest and not flashy at all but they go up to my mid calf which is where my dress ends. Will this look funny at a wedding? I'm not sure how formal the wedding will be but im pretty sure it will be traditional.

Have you tried on the outfit w/ the boots yet? You should asked a friend or a family member for a second opinion. I am not sure what your boots look like but it you dress them up I think it will look great.

Listen you can were anything as long as you look elegant, because you are going to a wedding after all. So were the whole outfit that you have chosen for the wedding and look at yourself from to bottom. And you decide if you look perfect for a wedding or for a club. That's how you should decide, never let anyone make decisions for you. I wish you the best of luck.

I think that it's all bout the way u wear it, if u wear a long dress let the dress be the focus not ur shoes. but be carefull not to look takey or just thrown togather. But also remember if ur boots r not nice boots then that rest of u really not gona matter. cause r shoes gona have everyone eye. Just put it this way, if i walk into a room and i have on a ugly dress but nice shoes only mabe a couple of people gona say nice shoes. but if i walk into the room I have on a really nice dress but some ugly shoes, every ones gona look at the dress . ITS WHAT U MAKE EVERYONE FOCUS ON THAT MATTERS!

the only shade it extremely is out, is white. only old biddies might have a venture with a black dress. Hell, the only wedding ceremony i've got been to, I wore a black and crimson dress, so did my sister, so did my cousin, and so did the bridesmaids. i assume it substitute into "IN" that season or something... there substitute into no venture with us all matching. It substitute into form of humorous. the different element is do no longer positioned on something too fancy, only one thing effective. you do no longer choose for to compete with the bride. in case you're donning boots, then i could positioned on an prolonged dress, which could be suitable, because of the fact it extremely is iciness.

I think it's okay to wear them. I am sure that they would understand your reason why you are wearing those kind of boots.
