IQ means and stands for "intelligence quotient". It does NOT mean how smart you are. It is a quotient because your IQ score is figured mathematically from answers on a standardized test. There are many IQ tests available and each one weighs its questions differently. The IQ scores can closely predict your performance in SOME areas but abstract reasoning and problem solving remain difficult aptitudes to measure objectively.
