I don't think so. I put CID on the back of all my cards and when i use it and nobody ask for my ID, i say, wait a min..you have no clue as to who i really am, why don't you check peoples ID. one person said "if the signature matches, we assume its you" first of all i have my moms sig down ( i had to sign her name because her arm was in a sling, so how does that prove anything) I said" whoo it does not even have a sign on my card. so how can you tell" she laughed if off. so i make sure that every time i use my card, they ask for an ID

Nope, it's not that easy...It's much easier if you write a check...Your info is electronically transferred to a holding company by using the card. By writing a check the clerk has access to your driver's license number, your address, your bank account number and more than you care to think about. Best way to deal with it is to pay CASH!!!
