if your going to buy a 4 cylinder and you want it to be reliable and cheap look for hondas or toyotas they're cheaper and last ALOT longer. I have about 3 friends that own an eclispe 4 cylinder and they all have motor problems.

Do you mean new or used..They are very good cars and are underrated by most people. Be careful on a used one because a lot of them have been raced by the kids..
