Yeah, I fell off a ladder and been stuck at home for the last couple of weeks (still waiting on the duck) and it would have been a drag without YA. I pity the man who has to watch daytime tv

yes it does. It has been a real help for me at night. Late at night. It is a grief issue for me, and sleep sometimes is not something that comes easily. I log on and soon I am immersed in something that is a lot better to do and think about besides what is keeping me awake and I can do nothing to change.
At least on here I can maybe do something that will help someone out and my insomia is not a total waste of time.
And yeah sometimes, I have really had a lot of help with my pain from people who have been where I am too.

Y!A doesn't help me feel less lonely, I'm never alone - I have a wife and son who fill up my days and nights. No, Y!A is a place where I can go to BE by myself, and reflect on what is bothering other people, try to help them with their problems, and maybe make a small corner of someone's life a better place for them.
And the fact that I learn something new here everyday is fun too - I never stop learning while I'm here.

Yes. When I am alone, I log on to Yahoo Answers and it makes me feel less lonely.
