Global Warming is taking place, and I am not so sure it is just the people who are the culprits of this catastrophic event. There are much deeper reasons for this phenomenon that is taking place. We may be contributing to this problem. But we alone aren't the only contributing factors. Scientists are studying this, and they have other theories. Reverse polarities may be taking place.
Personally, I think that because the Earth spins slightly off its axis, thus it has a wobble, and the Earth is coming to a stop. The sun is a powerful force, and as the Earth slows, sun's effects upon us are becoming more and more prolific. Cancer is more prevalent than ever before, for just one example.
Yes, Global Warming is happening, and I don't know if we are really able to stop it, or how much we contribute to the problem. We may be speeding up the process, but I don't think we are completely to blame.

Oh, that’s an easy one. If you did your research you’d know that the glacial formation in the lower 48 states is rather recent and is an artifact of a mini ice age less than 1000 years ago. By geological standards, that’s a drop in the bucket. These are not permanent features of the landscape, but transitional artifacts of a cold snap that created them. The planet is on its way back towards a global climactic optimum, which means they’re all going to melt.

What if the sun fluctuates in temp. How about earths inner core temp rising and falling. Science has only really been studing (directly) earth's temp for about 150yrs. That's not even a blink in time. For mankind to say he knows what is causing global warming is arrogance to the highest degree. Remeber all the carbon we are burning now did, at one time, exist above the ground and not in some oil field. I, for one, am really tired of the government induced false alarms just so they have somewhere to waste our tax dollars.

don't confuse them with the facts. As large parts of Missouri are in serious drought and you can't grow anything is Texas, to no water in large areas of China, to huge fish die offs and coral reef extinctions, polar bears in imminent danger, etc etc, there are still those that don't get that it must be getting warmer in the freezer if the ice melts! Perhaps when Florida is underwater, the diehards might allow that there is a cause for concern!

What little so-called "global warming" exists is natural, but Al Gore's brainwashing of the American people is a disgrace.

This is all a distraction from our real problems, such as an enemy that wants to kill us.

The earth's climate has always changed. We can now measure much more precisely than we used to. It is not known if this is a ling term trend or not. If it is, it is uncertain how much if any impact human activity has had. My guess is that political speeches are a major factor.

Why are coffee and eggs good for you, bad for you and then good again. For every argument for there's someone against. In this case science community is divided (as usual) and big business won't let us believe the world as we know it may be in danger because they're to blame for it.
