Twenty-three years and I still wonder how to get along with my wife...Where do her swear words and anger come from, when I never yell or swear? Such a mystery... I am not questioning the worth of marriage, I am a far better being because of it. Anger causes needless suffering yes?

Anger is one of the greatest vices and by the order of 'seniority' this is the standing of the five vices: Sex-lust, anger, greed, attachment and ego. Vices are evil spirits and therefore devilish so when is angry it means one is under the influence of the evil spirit and devil called anger. We have the vices because we are impure souls. When the soul was pure there were no vices and the world was peaceful but now we live in the jungle where there is nothing but sorrow, death, pain and destruction.

Has she been like that for 23 years? If not, could it be menopause? I know I've gotten a "tad" bitchy.
If she has been like that for 23 years, and it really bothers you, tell her you are giving YOURSELF a Christmas present.
You are not going to live with her vulgar tantrums any more.
She can get help, or a lawyer.
Curious, why have you tolerated it? Do you have children?

your wife is not happy with some part of her life. You need to sit down with no one to bother you.{no phone or other people around}ask her if there is something bothering her.Don't put her on the defensive.Just let her know how much you love her and that you want to help her.
