Every time I watch these shows I always want to punch these people out when they act like "der,, I see nothing wrong with doing-straving, beating-whatever. Am I the only one? Sometimes I think certain people should have to get a lot more jail time or fined big bucks. If you don't want an animal don't get one to start with.

Yeah, isn't it disgusting. sometimes they think they're doing the dog a favor by keeping him and they say they don't have any money to take care of it. I want to punch them too.

i volunteered for an SPCA for many years. my own dogs were trained in four languages and (although i don't speak to him any longer), accompanied my father teaching pet safety, as he is the dir. of humane ed. for a large animal shelter. the things i saw were terrible. not the shelter in itself, but what people did to the animals to have them brought there. evidence collected for prosecution and trials included home made tread mills made with spikes to force dogs to run, building muscle mass so their owners could fight them to the death... and for what? it's despicable. i've seen people bring in an animal because they had their walls painted, and the cats eye color no longer matched. another brought in his dog because he found ONE tick on it. seriously. i saw the starved and beaten, neglected and deceased, and it never ceased to break my heart. it's called compassion. the world could use alot more people who feel the way you do.

hahaha i feel the same way when i watch that show too! officer anne marie lucas is my hero, because she's the one with the most balls who actually calls out those animal abusers! i love watching her in action!

that show can be really sad. i use to work at an animal shelter and it was amazing that people would abuse or neglect their pets and not think anything of it.
