I don't report people when I get upset. Getting upset is my problem. If the comments are badly inappripriate or abusing the site, yes
One example of abusing the site. One guy had 17 identical answers on 1 page of questions advertising a particular browser. It,s OK to recommend a favorite, even 17 times on a page, if they make an effort to answer individual questions. This guy set up a link with the browser name on it to his personal website. Not only against the rules, but probably part of something illegal. He's gone now, at least under that name.

Someone posted a joke here in polls&surveys, which really wasn't a Q, so I answered by laughing. I got a Violation, because it wasn't an answer, even though the guy that posted the loke gave me best answer- GO Figure!! I don't report people though.

No- i ignore people. I give them the thumbs down so i dont have to read their mess. But i think reporting is what i did when i was in grade school- i am FAR from there!

Nothing. the whole point of Y answers is to get the diversity of brains, beliefs, culture, etc.. and the stupid bad ones are part of the bargain. just take it or leave it.
i personally ignore. except for very racist insulting derogatory comments.
