Just want to add a bit about one sentence:
Italian ice cream has no air.
By "air" do you mean "flavour"?
I would then say: El helado italiano no tiene sabor.
BTW, I noticed "mantecado" in one of the posts.
In parts of Mexico, ice cream is rendered as "nieve".
